Norwegian Descendants Organization Inc.
NDO is an interest organization for Norwegian emigrants in the Philippines.
On this page, we will gradually make information available to members as they see a need for it.
As Norwegians living in the Philippines, we occasionally encounter the Philippine bureaucracy with laws and rules that are different from what we are used to in Norway, for example: Visas, getting a Philippine driver's license, marrying Filipino citizens, etc.
In addition, we must comply with laws and regulations in Norway both with regard to emigration and immigration, tax, NAV, Helfo, etc.
There is an incredible amount of information to look for and finding relevant documentation can sometimes be difficult - because there are many places to look.
Here on the website, we will collect relevant information or links to information together with creating an experience database based on other members' experiences.
That way, it becomes easier to find your way through the myriad of information.
The website also contains an overview of the agreements NDO has signed with others, such as discount agreements on food, accommodation, travel and insurance etc.
To develop the website, we hope for good help from the members and also knowledgeable people outside NDO to make life here easier and better.
